Does anyone know who long local authorities are allowed to schedule a remit from a Sheriff ?

I know that L.A.'s have 6 months to hear applications, apply for more time or they are 'deemed' to have been granted

Any ideas ?

If it's the sneddon case then I believe so.
That being the case, everything will be on hold until the appeal is decided.

Apologies, been working too hard recently !

Out of curiosity is there a time limit on remits ?

I looked through the copy of the 1982 Act put up by JD (thanks) & found out councils have to hear applications within three months & decide within six, but nothing on remits

Will update on the Sneddon case when there is anything to report....
