Or at least, that's what we call them.

Another thread has raised this subject but, I felt it deserved it's own thread, if nobody objects.

How much do you pay in "radio fees" to your office for the privilege of receiving work which is not rank work?

I'll start the ball rolling...Ours is £102.25 pw inc VAT.

[It would be appreciated if we could stick to facts rather than passing comments on how 'stupid' or otherwise some contributors may be felt to be. After all, it is my thread!!]

My Radio cost's me nothing, it was fitted with the Taxi when I bought it. Multi CD changer included.

When, and if Com Cab get around to fitting me, it'll be £20 a week. The longer they take though, the more chance I'll forget about having it fitted.

I'll be trying the 'pay as you go' option, before I commit to £60 a week.

If it's as good as people say it is, I might go 'full time', but I've survived this long without any computers in my Taxi's, so I'm in no hurry as such.

Well just stick to your abacus then   do you just move the small breeds along every time you pass a lamppost and a big one every 10

Mine costs 0.05p per call, and nothing if they call the mobil number instead of the lindline one.
Why bother with an office when all you need is phone and some cards, get the punters to call you direct and cut out the middle man

Why bother with anything if there's passengers standing on the streets waving money at you?

However, I promised myself I will give the company a trial period, and then decide.

I suppose it all depends on what you clear.

If I could clear three grand a week I would gladly give one of those to the op.
