Quote Sussexman "I don't believe people are defending my anonymity, but the right that I should have anonymity if I so wish. As for you being amazed, well to be honest I amazed that you wish to know my inns and outs, perhaps you could elaborate."

Good gried... do I really have to spell it out to you! :D

I think that after so many postings from you on here and in other forums that it is about time you revealed your position in the trade. It is really that simple.. or to quote one of your own expressions.. "It isnt rocket science"

Some low life on here thinks that I am on witch hunt which is so far from reality that I cant think what plannet they come from. ( i think they ar still sulking from the OFT report )

It is simple and plain curiosity. You certainly have an enromous amount to say ( and good for you) but I really do not understand why you prefer to remain so annonymous.

Ok.. I accept that you dont want to give your name. That is completely understandable.. I dont want to know your name. What I would like to know is for you to actually state what position you hold in the trade and which area you work. I have already worked out that you do not work nights as your postings are far too early in the day to be a night worker. (And of course you do not work Christmas day either  )

Because I believe that the only people who should be contributing to this forum are those who work within the trade... and I do not believe that you fit this criteria.

I really do not understand why you.. or indeed anyone else that contributes, is afraid of stating their position.

Perhaps the only people that should have their comments taken seriously are those who state who they are and actually prove they work in the trade

As far as I know you could be a milkman!!!

Scanners
the trade employs solicitors as well,

and they do liven a site up!

all those that add and contribute to the trade is welcome to put thier views surely?

which would exclude the likes of you who take out but add nothing.

besides you have a cheek he pays for the site!

And you are more than welcome to your opinion, even if I do believe it to be flawed.

Flawed in the respect that not all the people in the taxi/PH trade know more about it, than those outside of it, and flawed that I don't meet your mythical criteria.

The whole point of anonymity is so that people can do just that.

It would appear so Captain.

Some people in our trade have such a low opinion of their colleagues, that they can't grasp that some in the trade have a brain cell or two.

I think that's quite a shame.

Captain,
I'm confused too. My best take on the situation is that one of them wants to a milkman!!! If so can I have two pints tomorrow please?
On the subject of anonymity I decided a long time ago that I would not respond to anything signed "Guest" because I never knew whether the opinion offered on the day was consistant with prior postings. Nom de plumes are okay with me, I don't need to know your name just whether your posts are relevant, informative and factual and if they agree with me so much the better.
To our moderators I would ask that they should perhaps insist every time that some sort of name is attached, unless of course there is some technical thing that does not allow it.

Well Sussexman, this is the whole point. I do not know if you are a colleague..... and I reckon not
