just been checking the agenda for next thurs licensing meeting, under private hire new applications it reads dundee private hire ltd bill rattry x71,also under taxi operator license new applications, dundee private hire ltd bill rattry x6,now either this is the 71ph and 6 wavs finally being registered which doesn,t sound right or they are up for another 77 plates,i thought the council put your name on the site before you were granted the license so individuals had a chance to object

Well ! Well ! Well ! Davy ( The Dapper Don ) has gone and done it again another 71 Private Hire plus 6 W A V's.

I spoke with him this week, he tells me these plates are added to what they already have making his fleet now 142 PH, 16 W A V's

Add that to the 42 independant guys and his fleet will soon be bigger than Tele's.

When are you lot going to waken up and see who the real enemy is......

The guy who was in print yesterday in our local rag Mr ( I've been a PH, Hackney,W A V ) Thoreson.

at £195 per plate the total costs were £15015.00,which would have had to be paid in advance

When are you gonna get anything right ?? The 71 PH plates granted were to allow " tatties n gravy " to once again change the company name ! DTCC are no more now it's Dundee Private Hire Ltd, after the last fiasco it was obviously done properly this time ie; no courts involved.

As for the 42 independent...what school did you stay away from ? the total fleet number operating daily does no amount to that !!!!

em off to get a mark 4 cortina plated

i thought it all looked iffy,he is still struggling for drivers and with the new forms it will be even harder to get a driver,if he was going to expand he would do it the way he did with the mercs 10 at a time,i think he is using you old hack as a tool to wind up the trade, why the fourth name change ?

Did seem funny that these supposedly new plates were exactly the same in number as the old ones. But since even Old Hack with his inside knowledge didn't quite catch on

Aye, I think Davy Young must think Old Hack is zipped up at the back, and he'd be right :D

Ho ho, what a side splitter, perhaps you could give me a chance to adjust my steys next time?

However, the problem with these 'jokes' is that they're often published in the Tele as if they're proven facts?
