Well that my taxi badge yet again up for renewal, and just got the letter in from the council on Friday giving me the renewal sheet and what to put in it, its £160 for the new licence and will make that out in a cheque, its a bit cheaper for a private hire badge, but the i have a taxi drivers badge as i had my own general a few years ago, how much are you for renewal of your badge? and in the start of May is when we can pick up the contracts for 2013/2014 :-o better get in their quick for the schools starting back in August

£120/yr or £225 for 3 years, dual HC+PH badge...

BTW, Staffs do 4 year contracts not 1 year

If I get a new one it will justify buying a car on 3 year finance

I'm amazed anyone pays £160 for a driver's license.

It must be printed in gold on ancient papyrus.

in this area, you get a contract for 1 year, if you manage to get it again the next year you lock it in for the next 4 years unless you cancel it or the person no longer needs to go to that destination

In that case it's par for the course for a VEHICLE license.

Although there are some in the £200-£300 mark. Maybe £400+ in Cardiff if I remember rightly.

DVLA issue driver licenses, LA issue taxi/PH badges (with licence)
