Their conditions are correct but you can subcontract out.CROSS BORDER WORKING
Cross Border Working has in the past caused concern to many in the taxi
trade and a number of false impressions have grown up as to the rules
which apply.
The rules are as follows:-
• Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 1 who carry out the
contract: legal
• Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 1 who sub-contracts
to another firm in borough 1: legal
•
Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 1 who sub-contracts
to another firm not in borough 1: not legal•
Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 2 who carry out the
contract: legal• Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 2 who sub-contracts
to another firm in borough 2: legal
• Call made in borough 1 direct to firm in borough 2 who sub-contracts
to another firm not in borough 2: not legal.
It all depends on how/were the call originated. Bold black is the one ppl are concerned with, but the blue type is what may be happening if phones were on divert. Difficult one to find out and who cares anyway!
