Now that Westminster has rule out devolving corporation tax or "devo max " I wonder what the 33% of Scottish voters who backed the option are thinking now
Westminster isn’t prepared to give them "devo max ”. Do they say: "OK then, I was only asking. I’ll dae whit I’m telt.” or “Independence it is then.”
http://www.scotsman.com/news/politics/w ... _1_1954387I also wonder why Northern Ireland will get corporation tax powers but not Scotland ?
The main problem is that that majority of the tosspots that make up the Scottish Parliament are simply not up to the Task, somethings are better not devolved...more so now because theres more SNP single cell amoeba in the parliament than there is in your average highland bog.
They have daft, unworkable and unaffordable ideas that will bring Scotland to its knees within five years. They'll feck up all business's that rely on work from south of the border, they'll tax us higher than the rest of the UK, they'll impose draconian laws on us all.
We Scots will become worse off under the SNP as things are, and then be twice as worse off after Independance.
Our only hope on this small Island nation of ours is unity, not the type of unity that the EU wants to impose on us and which the SNP is so keen on...but a unity based on democracy and national freedom which can still be enjoyed by all the nations that make up the United Kingdom.
Im Proud to be Scottish, just dont give me that p1sh about the SNP not be anti English but only Pro Scottish. It does not wash, the SNP pick fights with our neighbours every chance they get.
My betting is that if we ever become an Independant state its more likely a result of our English neighbours seeking their own independance just to escape the whinings of the SNP, and also for them to avoid being dragged under by Alex Salmonds bunch of Loony toons that have false charm and real smarm in equal amounts.
