You've lost me completely. I've said many times, I would vote for Independence, if we had a written constitution which made politicians directly accountable, to their electorate. The truth is, it's never going to happen unless there is some sort of economic collapse or an uprising.
With an independent Scotland we would have a written constitution. That's more than we have at present and it's more than you will ever get under the union.
As to what's in it, that's up to us - the citizens of Scotland.

Listen, to this video on Iceland and if you can tell me Scotland is going down the same road with Independence. You've got my vote.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGoCQFbvHzsI'm well aware of what happened in Iceland, though most on here probably aren't.
You forget one thing though, Skull. Iceland was able to pursue this route because they were independent.
If they were still part of Denmark, the decision wouldn't have been theirs to make and they would have been stuck with a decision made in Copenhagen.
Likewise Scotland. The bank bailouts were decided by the UK government, Scotland had no choice in the matter.
Now, would the outcome would have been any different? Probably not, but at least it would have been our decision to make.
The people of Iceland pursued this route because of economic collapse, it had nothing to do with being Independent. It was a strength of feeling that brought the politicians to their knees and kicked out the bankers. And it's that very same strength of feeling that will bring Independence, or not, whichever the case may be.
Politicians are the same the world over, and the people only get what they deserve. If we want real change, then it will happen but as far as I can see, there is nothing to write home about.
It's a nice dream gusmac but I think you are deluding yourself.
