Written by a six year old. Any argument about vehicle age, take it to the mags and tell them the rules aren't fit for purpose.

Roll on the Law Commission reforms!!

Our councils' definition of purpose built is a vehicle that is not a conversion. Based on that the veto is a conversion. Our council also state any vehicle approved by the PCO. It doesn't state if that is for Hackney or Private hire. The PCO, as far as I am aware, will consider anything for Private Hire.

All vehicles determined to fit this exceptional condition:

9. Will no longer be eligible for licensing if any major defects be found on the vehicle test (major defects are defined as defects affecting the brakes, suspension or steering).

How on earth do you determine how many more miles a battery will last?? :?

More uneducated twaddle from thus council from someone who obviously has little or no mechanical knowledge.
