The airport writes their own bylaws and when it comes to new buildings, holding areas or taxi ranks, they can move the goalposts as many times as necessary. CRT or the Council, for that matter, would never be done fighting the changes to accommodate ECPH, through the courts.

Nah, I think Tony and Murray haven’t thought this through. To stop the airport doing what they like you would have to go after their operation of running a restrictive practice and selling the punters on to the service provider. And even then it wouldn’t be easy but the fact the airport has so much to lose by the challenge. It might bring them to the negotiation table.

Longshanksed, ECPH will be there tomorrow in the form of Onward, they have signed up 90% of the Onward fleet. There will be no significant impact on the current set up.This fleet will be augmented with a back up if necessary of certain hand picked vehicles and drivers from the existing ECPH fleet.

Story I heard was that ECPH wouldn't be at the airport Monday morning as they don't have enough cars in their fleet, therefore there would be no PH at the airport tomorrow as ECPH couldn't fill the numbers on their rank. Which would be the rank currently used by onward.
