The only reason ECPH have got to where they are is because the majority of the members of both companies are blinkered by their hatred for private hire. Some of those who shout the loudest against them actually operate private hire licences themselves. You couldn't make it up. Central and City should now and have been operating their own branch of private hire. Could have easily dealt with competition from rivals. Now if City Cabs were to acquire ECPH that certainly would be a game changer.

Crusades....Invasions!! Ha ha you're a religious nut Skull. I'm not assisting anyone skull. I merely drive a cab at night. Lets just see what the future holds. It's sad you claim you have no interest in all this yet you're the one that keeps going on and on.

Please don't wonder about the likes of me cause I have absolutely no interest in your wellbeing. You're just here to stir it all up. Who's jamming whom up where? Stop getting so wound up about everything. There is no partnership with ECPH. You'll respond with your usual stupid thick jibes which merely mask your inferiority complex. The airport debate has been done to death. In a perfect world the two companies should have stayed together and bought ownwards fleet and then bid for the lot. That didn't happen and now we'll have bitterness and distrust between the two companies forever. But what can pretendy businessmen such as you and I do about it? I have other interests in life thankfully.

How apt that you bring a coffee machine into debate, pots and kettles comes to mind, you really are going "STIR Crazy" Skull. Your brain will be the size of a coffee bean that's for sure!!

You go on about members not standing up against the committee, that coming from a guy who didn't have the balls to stand up to the Cab Inspector and subsequently got his license REVOKED.

Honestly Skull you aren't worth a [edited by admin] in this world I'm sad to say. You haven't even bean able to start up your pretendy doggie sanctuary!! I think you should start up a "loony farm", that would be more your "cup of tea" sorry coffee.

The only reason they got to where they are is because of the council's protection racker. Restriction, end of.

PH increased because it has no limits. Increases in demand were met by them before the taxi trade could get round to holding a survey. Remember them putting 50 skodas on in one go?

And reaching critical mass, PH has now reached the point where it is calling the shots. It determines price levels. It determines who gets access to the big contracts. And it uses the threat of price competition to lower tendered prices for the big contracts it doesn't get, really want, or are not yet ready to service.

And its the cabbniggrs who pay for it all. Reducing number of jobs because the economy is in the basement or because it causes customers to realise how the taxi trade is ripping them off while the service is poor, all means that its drivers who carry the financial cost.

I guess you must be wetting yourself that the council might just wake up to how its restriction has mitigated against the interests of customers and end the injustice of protecting existing owners who depend on the cabbniggrs it's created to prop up owners.

Only in the taxi trade ...

And, given the SNP government perpetrates such injustice, do we really want to have them control an "Independent" Scotland.

Next year's vote is a vote for unfettered fascism.

Sorry to disapoint you Skull, the woman with the wee red van is selling her coffee!!

Have you ever thought of opening a "intergalactic" dog breeding sanctuary. Imagine sending all those dogs in to Space Skull!! They would then be on the same planet as you my friend!!!

Have a good day Skull. I'm going to call you Mr "Bean" from now on.

Cháo Skull!!

How does PH determine price levels? They tried to take cabs head on by offering a reduced rate on the meter. Didn't affect the level of my work or others I work alongside one iota

PH dictates who gets what contracts by competitively lowering discounts? Emmmm.... No. I remember not far back jim that you were trying to round up street cars to put in a data unit so they could work alongside ECPH and receive jobs for the Social Work contract they were trying to tender for. You saying they didn't get it because they don't really want the NHS work, or the Scottish Government, or the Universities, or the Social Work.

Your talking absolute balls and once again are back peddling on what you say.

One of your famous arguments is that vulnerable females are at risk because "they can't get a cab" but if PH are the ones orchestrating the work in Edinburgh and PH numbers are at "critical mass", if that was the case then surely these vulnerable females can get a ride home in a PH easily enough in a market that is at "critical mass"

Through the laziness of black cab drivers. I remember them starting, picking up the fares from pubs we all had by in large starting refusing to pick up. Conversations with other black cab drivers went along the same line....f it let them do the [edited by admin] work.

Still if we all lived in Jizzys world then we can justify it all by blaming the world, council, cab office, SNP, Westminster Govt, The Police, the Nazis, Pol Pot, PH drivers that aren't rapists (cause they're not doing their bit)......

What, you mean City Cabs never got the call? Maybe next time eh... #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o

Murray, sorry Skull. Don't use seven then eight. Psychologists determine liars will use comfortable patterns. Hence 78 or it was 34 passengers.

And anyway who cares??
