So working long hours for sh*t pay, picking up sh*t people under the the cosh of a sh*t council, floats your boat Sussex? I guess I just wasn't cut out to work with idiots, present company excepted. And to be honest, I don't know how you do it.
Long hours don't bother me, I don't take sh*t money and never have, and I have as good a relationship with the council as is possible.
I also like most of the fellas I work with, in fact they are my best mates.
So that's how I do it.

Hmmmmmmm let's just say it's a matter of perspective.

Although, your view is somewhat dependent on not looking at what you don't want to see, while convincing yourself, everything is the way it should be.
Surely, taxi driving can't be the different in Sussex.
Would you pay £2.50 or £2.90 to pick up a fair at the airport, and then pat yourself on the back for paying to provide a service to customers you were legally obliged to pick up in the first place, free of charge?
And how about appearing in front of your council as a witness against yourself, to speak to an unfounded, unsubstantiated, allegation? In other words, being summoned before the council to spill your guts in a bid to plead for your licence?
Not for me Sussex, it's a question of dignity.

I fu*king hated it.
