ALL the great religions come together in writings, The Koran even includes Jesus and Abraham (and doubtless many more and vice-versa) they are interlinked, the commonality of the contents shows us there is more common ground than many would like to think, its also a fact we owe so much to Islam, like the written word, Arabic being what our alphabet is based on.
I wonder which way things would have gone if the Crusaders hadnt decided to slaughter so many Moslems across the Holy Land
Religion was born of man becoming self-aware and questioning his existence of how he came to be on this planet. This is why there is no definitive word of God. Religion was invented by primitive people in a dark age where man pointed to volcanoes, meteorites, tsunamis and earthquakes, etc. as prophetic acts of God to explain their existence. We now know this was all bollocks, there are no magic or miracles, only fairy stories.
And then there's the question of the 4.5 million years, in which the planet was around before "God" put in an appearance, some 2,000 years ago. Oh and let's not forget the Dinosaurs, the fossil record and DNA?
OK buddy you win. Calm down. Fancy a mango?

Not only could your "God" not get his story straight, there is no evidence he ever existed. Oh and his sons or prophets were not put on this planet to spread the "word."

It's all bollo*ks!!!
