fu...ing hell Skull... how do you want to force old cabbie to do something different even if there is more money and less hours? that`s fu...ing strange, it`s like trying to teach an old elefant to dance. struggling to earn decent money these days is not taxi drvers habits it`s global lack of money. don`t you think that this business as a service is not necessity? people don`t use taxis cos they can`t afford them... so we`re comming back to the point and start again...
You are correct, there is a serious lack of money and what is more, there's been a sea change in how people go about spending their hard-earned cash. Nevertheless, your trade has to take responsibility for doing nothing in the last twenty years, to improve their lot. They've run their industry into the ground. Oh and most of what has happened was predicted by yours truly.
Do you know, that when I first started driving taxis, I could make more money on a Saturday night, than most people could earn, in a week?
The taxi trade got to where it is now, for the most part, through apathy, greed and self-interest, and it was guys like wannabeeahack that allowed it to happen. You've only to read some of his posts to realise what I am saying is true. He's living in denial. And as was written before
"It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere" Voltaire, knew what he was talking about...
