Which is probably why he's failed to mention his most-recent quote for FC + the grand lost in deposit for TP?

Why is what hes paid of such great interest to you?

I don't really care what he's paid, but he put it up for debate, and I think with all that has happened. It's a relevant question. :?

I'm now curious as to what he's been forced to cough-up? #-o He was quick enough to tell us his TP was 4k, and that they bumped him for his deposit. So what's the punchline. How much has FC cost altogether? #-o

£5750

"We are currently seeking to get revised cancellation figures from XX for you to get the best return for yourself.

XX& myself are currently arranging this for you & will advise according once we know more.

Many Thanks

XX"

I wonder what part of "no cancellation charges should apply because this is a policy was missold/wrong policy due to no error on my part".....

You might be right because everyone seems to be buying Into the game at present even though the work available is steadily diminishing due to money being tight and people being canny with their dosh.

It's not the same Job as it was 15 years ago, it's all to cut throat and every client being overly competed for and being chased by to many Drivers, the Big boys get busier but not necessarily wealthier due to decreased profit margins, sadly the wee boys suffer most because they can't tolerate or endure such meagre profit margins due to their lack of business scale. About the only way the wee guys will survive is if they carve out a niche market for themselves and specialise in sightseeing tours, Public Contract work or dedicated Hotel contracts or whatever..

Anyone for a career change??

An ill-conceived plan if ever there was one, but experience rarely comes free of charge, and we can all be wise after the event. I suppose Jman, will just have to suck it and see. Although I don't see how he expects to earn a living with overheads like that and if he as a bump, which is more than likely with the hours, he'll be working, the prospect of another year's insurance will disappear in a puff of smoke. #-o

So the good news is that the idiot Broker has cancelled the policy, bad news is that they won't return my £955 deposit. Reg body now looking into it.
They then have cheek of offering me £75 refund if I stay with them. =D>

How long do you expect the reg body to take? Don't waste time, apply for a CCJ. You can do it online. They will have 28 days to respond. if they fail to respond, you win.

I would imagine that, if his vehicle has passed its test, he'll be eating, sleeping and shi**ing the job. #-o
