Two possible solutions:

1. Drop them on the mini-roundabout in a potentially dangerous position, and,

2. Drop them in the station car park opposite and make them walk 100 yards.

If they don't want to pay the drop off charges I drop them off before I enter the pay zone.

it's £1 and they are almost the last in the UK to bring it in. The problem is that many of the bigger airlines like Ryanair have so much clout now that Airports are struggling to make money it's a bit like the supermarkets and their suppliers so the airports can't make money on their core activities but car park charges are easy money as we motorists and taxis have little or no clout

They're all going up to £2 for 10 mins then £1 per minute after that.

East Midlands was a train wreck on Monday morning at 5:30am.

Unfortunately that will only encourage them to increase the charge even more.

Earlier this year an Mp called for all airports to charge a minimum £3 change.I think this has been taken as government approval for upping the charges :?
