agents for the drivers.
So if a car breaks down going to the airport....and the passengers missed their flight......who is liable....
The agent unless it states otherwise in their terms and conditions. Has anybody read any terms and conditions for PH or taxis? If a passenger is killed or injured and the car is not insured..who is liable..
Well I would say the operator for not checking the drivers insured, but, they will say it isn't them because all the drivers are self employed and they only act as the agent for the driverIf Uber collect payment from the customer who is the customer paying.
They are paying the driver for services rendered by the driver via an App owned by the operator for which they charge the driver a commission to use. If Uber turnover more then 100,00 do they need to be VAT registered.
It's not just about turnover it's about how much of that turnover actually belongs to Uber. Money that belongs to the drivers isn't theirs so isn't countedIf you are registered for VAT must you charge it.
Yes What Country do Uber get paid in.
I haven't a clue to be honest. Do they have accounts in every country or just one account for everything?what is the VAT rate in that Country or is it here ?
If it is in that country I haven't a clue, but, if it is in this country the V.A.T is 20%Why do P.H.companies here not charge in the same way.
Because they can't be bothered investing in the technology and I would suspect that they to may well have to pay more V.A.T than they are currently paying as well as other taxes.Just for debate
