Looks like a more local version of the Veezu expansion, and another stronger operation gobbling up a competitor weakened by lockdown etc.
And lots of Veezu-style blather, but at least there's one sentence (highlighted) actually acknowledging the role of Covid in weakening the target company

It brings the Cab My Ride fleet to over 300 drivers in and around the city.
This is the second acquisition of the year for Arjan Sahota, the 27-year-old director of Cab My Ride. In January, he acquired Bitterne Cars.
Image: Daily EchoHe told the Daily Echo: "There’s an exciting time coming for Cab My Ride, as we continue to expand our business throughout the South Coast. This acquisition allows us to open up to a new market and grow our ability to serve thousands of customers with reliable transport."
The six-figure acquisition will allow Cab My Ride to serve a community that once did not have access to on-demand transport.
The new Eastleigh hub will benefit from the expertise of a bigger team, with more resources and capital to invest in technology, customer service and cars. Cab My Ride has retained all Millers staff and is also looking to expand the team.
Arjan added: "Millers Taxi has been an integral part of the community around Eastleigh, Fareham and Winchester since its inception; a household name everyone knows.
"The company was formed with vehicles owned by the company offering high-quality service, including local and airport transfers.
However, due to Covid, the company was left in a vulnerable position. "Cab My Ride provide on-demand transport services to customers across the South of England and now can extend this offering to customers in rural areas where typically it would be difficult to get a taxi.
"We're able to do this thanks to the addition of 13 MPV vehicles from Millers to our fleet, something which is rare to get in the city at the moment."
Millers Taxis operated for over 50 years and became a household name in Hampshire.
Former boss Timothy Miller added: "I am excited to retire from the industry and relax. All the team are excited to move over and open the business to new opportunities."
Cab My Ride prides itself on providing fast, reliable and affordable ground transportation services to riders.
