To all you scum bag owners that can’t see the opportunity Taylor and I have given you.
This is your chance to use de-restriction as a means to take yourself forward. Don’t waste time blaming people for what was ultimately inevitable. The plate value was never going to last. Better it crashes sooner rather than later – Dublin being a (100k) case in point. The old wood will be cut away. The market will be left to those who are fitter and know how to survive. There will always be some collateral damage, just make sure it’s not you.
BTW, spitting the dummy is not the answer – move on.
And if you can’t move on – burn

Oh dear Skull. Methinks you've given the bounders some hope.
Isn't it more likely that the herd will choose to burn rather than grasp the opportunity?
It's a kinda catch 22.
They grasp the mettle and prosper. We were right.
They fail and burn. By pointing to their weakness we prove we're right again.
Lots of guys apply for plates. We're right.
No one applies for plates (unlikely). We're right again because we've always said there was no need to panic. Owners will have moderated rentals. Loyalty will prevail. We would be proved right to give the drivers the option.
Drivers work substantially the same shifts, albeit on their own vehicles. We will be right again, cos we predicted this.
This is why there's been no counter argument to the case we've articulated. Because we're right.
BTW Still no word from WKF Milne about his willingness to appear before the Revenue to explain the discrepency in his books over rentals paid to him. (Surprise suprise)
And still no sign of Roger giving up his notional £30K plate value. Can't wait for this. I wonder if he will grovel to me in the same degrading way he does with the council?
