Since Mr Fastblacks has split one of the threads on his forum and relegated my replies to the "The what age ARE you? - For those childish retorts and comments" section of his forum, I'm going to reconstruct the relevant thread below.

Since Mr Fastblacks is a registered member on here he's of course welcome to respond, but in my opinion it's anti-democratic to keep his posts on the main part of his forum while relegating my reply to a section that few read, and the section chosen to house my posts demonstrates the rather disdainful and dismissive attitude of Mr Fastblacks to very pertinent questions about his integrity.

I notice Mr Admin has posted a few html, jpg and gif files from the TDO server. I would like to ask Mr admin how many files are located in that folder?

Kelly followed up, a few hours later:

Can we have some movement on these files pleeeeze? Mr admin posted a combined total of a dozen html, jpg and gif files. How many files in that folder sunshine. Lets see some doc files and some pdf files and what's more lets see the files in that folder that are attributed to you and this website? You haven't got a clue how many files are in that folder and if u did u wouldn't hesitate to publish those files because the files in that folder are more pertinent to one u stole from Jim Taylors pm box.

Regards

Good job you're not an accountant, since your arithmetic is so poor if you reckon all I posted were were links to 12 items. However, since you insist here's a fuller list.

I replied:

Yes, but all these file names are available to anyone looking on our website.

But the Salteri document wasn't, and you haven't explained how you found it.

Also interesting is that you've waited a week before trying this irrelevant 'defence' - why not last week - the answer is presumably that you can't think of anything more credible, thus this is a last gasp.

It would actually reflect better on yourself if you said nothing.

Are you really so thick that you cannot understand that you have seen a directory listing of your site?

When the Salteri document was there, it too would have shown up. Just because I refused to play your puerile game of "find the file" doesn't mean I couldn't find it.

Now forget it and move on.

Aha....you said it 'would' have shown up in a directory listing - that suggests that at the time, as I suspected, you didn't find the document in the same way as you found the one listed above.

And that's why I'm trying to get you to answer the simple question - how precisely did you ascertain the location of the Salteri document?

You see, even if you could have obtained it at the time in the same way you obtained the above URLs, that doesn't mean that you actually did, as your (Freudian?) slip above demonstrates?

So that's why you didn't say precisely how you found it at the time?

That's why neither you nor anyone else managed to find the document I left for you?

That's why you took a week and the same points posted ad nauseum for you to start a thread called 'closure' which still doesn't disclose how you found the file.

So perhaps you could outline precisely how you found the file at the time Mr Admin, then we could move on to Round 2.

At this rate we may reach a denounment by the summer

This is like pulling teeth

And don't forget what I said last week - your damned either way - even if you did find the document legitimately you've clearly dragged the whole imbroglio out in a vexatious manner - drip, drip, in other words.

Quite the rationale for this I can only guess - to engineer a dispute with TDO? To engineer a dispute with messrs Taylor and Thomson, thus 'legitimising' their exlcusion from the forum? Or just merely to generate more traffic for Fastblacks?

Of course, the first and second (in particular) conflict with the third, but only Mr Admin knows the truth.

And others like Bob clearly aren't very impressed with this kind of thing anyway, and although I like a good verbal joust, in truth I could use my time more constructively on other things.

So I implore you to explain, in succinct terms, how precisely you found the document.

I further replied:

And disregarding the aspect of how you found the document, there's still other matters that remain unexplained:

- how did you proffer the assertion that the document had been sent to the Sherrif Principal?

- how did you proffer the assertion that JD had authored the document?

- how did you conclude from finding the document that I'm a liar, particularly given the point above.

(Although I was not aware of the document, I'll concede that it was not unreasonable for you to conclude that I was, although that has no real bearing on the 'liar' allegation - even if I had been aware of it, is that any more proof that I'm a liar?)

It wasn't a puerile game - it was undertaken merely to demonstrate that neither you nor others could find it.

If you or anyone else could have then you would have shouted so loudly I would have heard you in my manor.

And if you do manage to prove that you could have found it, then you refusal to disclose it would just show that you were stringing people along for reasons unknown, but what would be obvious is that that was the 'puerile game'.

But you haven't even fully explained 'point 1' mr Admin, never mind all the others.

It's looking more and more like Sir Walter Scott's:

"Oh, what tangled webs we weave, When we first practice to deceive."

Sound more lile a Marillion song, actually.

But weren't both Sir Walter and Fish from the Edinburgh area?

Particularly apt then.

How plain do you want it? Perhaps the sentence in its entirety should have read "When the Salteri document was there, the directory listing taken at that time would have shown it." Maybe I credit you with a modicum of common sense?

So that's why you didn't say precisely how you found it at the time?

That's why neither you nor anyone else managed to find the document I left for you?

Tell me why I or anyone else should join in your little games. You and your colleagues do not even have the honesty to give your real names and email addresses. I do not answer to you or your kind.

That's why you took a week and the same points posted ad nauseum for you to start a thread called 'closure' which still doesn't disclose how you found the file.

How I found the file is secondary to the questions raised about your involvement in an Edinburgh matter contrary to your repeated claims of non-interference.

So perhaps you could outline precisely how you found the file at the time Mr Admin, then we could move on to Round 2.

At this rate we may reach a denounment by the summer

This is like pulling teeth.

It gets worse by the minute, hour, year, whatever, because I am not here to teach you basic IT or basic manners and I most certainly have no intentions of bowing to your demands

Well for goodness sake go away and use your time more constructively elsewhere.

So I implore you to explain, in succinctterms, how precisely you found the document.

Well that's the thread - it's a pity that Mr Admin locked the thread on his own forum, but I'm not sure whether he did that to stifle debate or to make it more difficult to copy the threads - it could have been done in five minutes if he hadn't blocked replies.

By the way, the smilies aren't included in the copied posts.

The Admin guy from Fastblacks is a scumbag.

Anyone who reads and publishes members private messages is a very sad individual.

The fact that he can't stand people pointing out the truth to him, and showing Fastblack's members what sort of person he is, only underlines what a low life he is. [-X

But I don't think the likes of Mr Taylor will let him forget what he has done.

Yes, he lists a pile of URLs that anyone can harvest from this site and seems to think that this proves that he had found a document that had only been on the domain a handful of hours and for which the URL had only been communicated in a private message on his site.

And how could he have know it had been sent to the sheriff or that JD wrote it without peeking at the PMs?

And he thinks that this document means I'm a liar, despite the fact that he knew about it BEFORE ME!!!!!

Anyway, I'll respond to his detailed responses later, but it's interesting to see that he claims that he doesn't have to answer to us because we don't use our real names.

That demonstrates that he thinks he's unaccountable anyway, but since most of his posters are anon then it just underlines his hypocrisy. :?

"When the Salteri document was there, the directory listing taken at that time would have shown it."

To me that sounds a bit too much like saying that if you'd done a directory listing at the time then the Salteri document would have been included, but in fact you didn't, so it wasn't :-k

If you'd said:

"When the Salteri document was there, the directory listing taken at that time showed it".

Then that would be indicicative of the fact that you did have or produce a directory listing at that time, and the Salteri document was in it.

To your credit, I think that means that you're not a very good liar

If you'd produced the list at the time and/or said precisely how you'd found it then you would not have raised suspicions, but of course you didn't, and in all probability took a week to come up with your rather weak excuse.

Quote:

Must be why there ares so many anonymous posters on your forum then. And it's also amazing how worked up you seem to be getting about me 'and my kind' and have to call me and others liars :?

And anonymity is not about honesty - are you saying that you can only be honest by not posting anonymously?

Quote:
How I found the file is secondary to the questions raised about your involvement in an Edinburgh matter contrary to your repeated claims of non-interference.

All the evidence points to you prying into the private messages to find the document via a URL posted there, so surely this is of primary importance?

And how can you say that a document that I didn't even know about proves my 'interference' in Edinburgh?

By the way, have you read my latest piece "A tale of two cities" posted on our homepage - that's about the extent of my involvement, but thankfully there are others getting more involved to expose the rather dubious practices of ECC.

Quote:
It gets worse by the minute, hour, year, whatever, because I am not here to teach you basic IT or basic manners and I most certainly have no intentions of bowing to your demands

You're certainly starting to sound a bit imperious, thus your failure to answer the question is perhaps hardly surprising.

But if you want everyone to think that you've been ferreting about in the private messages posted in good faith on your site then that's your problem :?

Quote:
On the contrary, it is you who have reacted out of all proportion to this revelation in order to mask your wrongdoing.

What wrongdoing? You call me a liar on evidence that isn't even worthy of the description 'flimsy' and all this on the basis of a confidential document found by looking at confidential messages, and then posted for the whole world to see on your site.

I know who's guilty of wrongdoing, and it ain't me O:)

Quote:
Surprise! Surprise! You're wrong on all counts again, since it is you who are prolonging this

So why have you ignored repeated requests to disclose you exactly you found the document - answer: because you've been trying to think up an excuse to cover your tracks. And you still can't even explain how you found the document at that time, just provide a list of URLs that anyone can find.

Yes, like on here, where you can't block me replying to you like you did on your own forum :D

Quote:
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllllllllll since I am still upset that no apologies have been forthcoming. NO

Apologies for what?

And have you removed the various defamatory allegations about me and this site?

No need for an apology - you're not man enough for that - but any chance of removing them? :?
